Harlem Arts Coucil
I overhauled the Harlem Arts Council website to make it accessible, responsive, and fully functional across devices. I also created the site’s online stores, giving the organization a clearer digital home for its arts programming, events, and community offerings.
The redesign improved the user experience by making information easier to find and helping visitors move smoothly from interest to action. I applied UX principles to balance visual appeal with usability, while ensuring the site worked for a broader range of users through accessibility-minded design.
The project produced a measurable result: class signups increased by more than 350%. It also gave me the creative freedom to build a stronger digital experience that supported the Council’s community engagement and made its programs more accessible online.

Take Your Meds (TYM - Work In Progress)
What TYM is (conceptually)
A simple, phone‑based medication reminder app built to help you remember to take your prescriptions, vitamins, or supplements on time. Its core purpose is to reduce missed doses by sending clear, timely notifications — often with follow‑up alerts if you don’t confirm that you’ve taken your medication.

Comic Book Project
What started as a Christmas present turned into a small business. I used several different AI programs to create comic book covers using, at first, friends and family, and, later, clients, turning them into superheroes with their own comic book covers that are printable as displayable posters.

who I am
I'm Rob Steele, a senior UX/UX/graphic designer and information architect with nearly 30 years of experience delivering usercentered web and mobile products through research, IA, wireframes, and interactive prototypes - Strong in accessible, responsive UI design (WCAG) and cross-functional collaboration in Agile teams. Known for pragmatic design systems and clear handoffs that keep delivery moving!
I believe great interfaces are invisible — they get out of the user's way. My work is fast, accessible and built to last. When I'm not coding, you'll find me hiking or hunting for a good espresso.
